We are so excited to welcome back overnight camping beginning this Friday, May 15th, the start of phase 1 in VA! In order to remain open, we MUST do our part in adhering to the guidelines put in place by the CDC and our Federal and State regulations. Most importantly, if you are sick or show any symptoms of this virus, PLEASE stay home as you will not be permitted in the campground.
The following amenities and activities will be open, with some restrictions or alterations:
- Camp store/office (open with call in orders for site delivery with the following hours 5/15 to 5/17: 10am to 6pm and opening for 10 patrons or less starting 5/20)
- All propane refills will be managed by dropping off your tank at our propane refill station (please make sure it is labeled). We will fill your tank, call you when it’s ready and charge the credit card on file.
- Cornhole area (bring your own bags)
- Catch & release fishing pond
- Fishing pier
- Golf Cart Rentals
- Laundry Facilities
- Bathhouse #1 (Bathhouse #2 will open next week)
The following amenities will remain closed during Phase 1:
- Pool
- Playground
- Pavilion
- Game room
While you are camping with us, social distancing guidelines must be maintained. For Phase One of Virginia’s reopening, this means that everyone must maintain 6 feet of social distance between people not in your household and not gathering in groups of more than 10 people. We also strongly recommend wearing a face mask when you are not on your site. Visitors and Day Passes will not be permitted during Phase One.
If you would like to modify or cancel a reservation based upon this information, feel free to email us at whitney@edallens.com and we will be happy to assist you!
