Larger crappie and a few white perch were in mid-depths around the creek mouths and on mid-depth wood cover in the main lake. Small to medium crappie were scattered along shorelines in the lower parts of creeks and in the main lake. Crappie and white perch were hitting live minnows, Wright Bait Co. and Southern Pro curlytail jigs and tubes, small swimbaits, and Kalin crappie scrubs. Small to medium bluegill were scattered in the creeks and were moderately numerous around shorelines in the main lake, but most larger bluegill had moved to mid-depth areas, frequently on wood structure. Bluegill were hitting live worms and crickets, flies, curlytail jigs, small swimbaits, Kalin crappie scrubs, and small spoons. Bass and bowfin were scattered, with some next to the shoreline vegetation in the creeks and others along the shorelines and mid-depths in the main lake. Bass were hitting live minnows, creature baits, soft plastic stick baits, crank baits, and plastic worms.
Fishing with Capt. Conway, Ellen and Scott Agner and Carolyn Conway had 9 crappie, 35 bluegill, 2 shellcracker, 2 warmouth, 1 bowfin, and 3 bass.
